The major destination covers such as Sringeri, Hornadu,Gokarnatheshwara temple, Kukke temple, Manjunath temple, Kudroli, Pajaka, Kunjarugiri, Shahi Kshetra, Ambalpadi, Saligrama, Kollur, Idagunj.


Day 01:Shringeri-Mangalore

Upon arrival meet and greet at the railway station proceed to Sringeri Temple, Hornadu, Kalasa, Kudremukha, Bahu Bali Road, Dharamsthala, Southadka Temple Road, Kukke Subramaniam Temple. Overnight stay at Mangalore.


Day 02:Mangalore-Udupi

Leave early morning for Kadri Sri Manjunath Temple, Mahathobara Shree Mangladevi Temple, Kudroli Shree Bhagavathi temple, Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Temple and later depart to Udupi en route Pajaka Kshetra & Kunjarugiri Parashurama Temple. Upon arrival hotel check in and proceed for Darshan of Bannanje Shree  Shani Kshetra & Ambalapadi. Overnight at Hotel Udupi.


Day 03: Udupi-Gokarna (330 kms)

After breakfast leave for Excursion trip of Saligrama  or Saaligraama” (Shaligram/Salagramam), Aanegudde Shree Vinayak Temple, Kollur, Murdeshwar-Idagunji- Gokarna. Upon arrival hotel check in. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 04: Gokarna-Sringeri Railway station (260 kms)

After breakfast leave for Sringeri for onward journey.

  1. Footwear: Removing footwear before entering the temple premises is not just a sign of respect, but also for cleanliness and humility.
  2. Dress code: Short or revealing clothes are generally frowned upon and it is advisable to wear conservative clothes while visiting a temple.
  3. Temple timings, buying tickets, camera: The most of the temples are open in the mornings and evenings. Kindly check the timings for each temple before visiting. Some temples also offer VIP Darshan or you can buy other Darshan tickets in advance.
  4. Hygiene: According to Hindu belief, it is necessary to have a bath before going to the temple. Many ancient South Indian temples have a temple tank, known as ‘kalyani’ where people in ancient times used to bathe before entering.
  5. Offering: Carries a gift while visiting a friend or family, so also it is common practice to carry a coconut and flowers as an offering to the temple deity, though this is optional. Some believe that coconuts are a representative of one’s self. After the offering, the coconut is broken, symbolising the breaking of the ego.
  6. Prayer Joining your hands during puja/Archana: It is believed that joining both hands such that all the tips of the fingers are touching each other activates certain pressure points in the body releasing positive energy.
  7. Sanctum Sanctorum: The innermost part of the temple where the idol of the deity resides, is called the sanctum sanctorum. This is considered the most sacred part of the temple and except priests; no one is allowed to enter here
  8. Pradakshina: It is customary to circumambulate the sanctum sanctorum or the temple in a clockwise fashion.
  9. Holy water, sacred flame and Prasad: After the puja, holy water, sacred flame and special offerings called ‘Prasad’ are offered as blessings to the devotees. The holy water, a concoction of camphor, and herbs which is used to wash the idol of the deity is considered to be charged with magnetic radiations and medicinal.
