Kaziranga National Park is famous for one horned Rhino the park is also UNESCO world heritage site. Apart from one horned Rhino the park has good numbers of Elephant, Hollock Gibbon, tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild water buffalo, swamp deer etc. The forest has varied topography it has tropical deciduous and semi-evergreen forest. Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. The sanctuary along with Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area located in the foothills of Himalaya under forest division of West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh. One can explore the rare species of Orchids along with other flora and fauna of the forest through trekking. The route passes through deep gorges and valleys, deep forest, rugged terrain its rewarding for nature lovers and adventure seekers equally. Visit to nursery where you can find the collection of about 200 rare species of Orchids. One can even find Red Panda, Pheasant, Scrow and many other varieties of birds and animal species. Namdapha National Park is a one of the major protected forest of Eastern most India. Considered as the third largest National Park of India is the richest areas in biodiversity in India. The forest is located in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The park minimum height starts from 200 m above MSL and goes till 4571 m above MSL the region why it is the home of all four kind of cats snow leopard, clouded leopard, common leopard and tigers. The other species of mammals are dholes, wolves, Asiatic black bears, red panda, red fox, yellow-throated-marten, Eurasian Otter, Oriental small-clawed otter, spotted linsang, binturong, common palm and small, large Indian civet, different varieties of cats, mongoose, elephant, Boar, musk deer, Indian munjtac, hog deer, sambar gaur, common goral etc. In bird species one can find five species of horn-bills recorded from the area. Several species of rare wren-babblers have been recorded in Namdapha. Other bird groups include laughing thrushes, parrot-bills, fulvettas, shrike babblers and scimitar babblers. The snowythroated babbler is a rare species of babbler found only in the Patkai and Mishmi hills and nearby areas in Northern Myanmar, is found in Namdapha. Other rare, restricted range or globally endangered species include the rufous-necked hornbill, green cochoa, purple cochoa, beautiful nuthatch, Ward's trogon, ruddy kingfisher, blue-eared kingfisher, white-tailed fish eagle, Eurasian hobby, pied falconet, white-winged wood duck, Himalayan wood-owl, rufous-throated hill-partridge, and white-cheekedhill partridge. Several leaf warblers and migrants such as amur falcon and several thrushes can be seen here.

Day 01: Guwahati

Upon arrival meet and assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Guwahati is the passage for Seven Sisters state. It may be challenging yet most rewarding. These states have ethnically distinct from rest of India and has strong cultural links with East and Southeast Asia. Upon arrival hotel check in. Proceed for half day city tour and what best than starting your day with visit to Kamakhya Temple. Other attractions in your itinerary includes of Assam State Museum, Srimanta Kalashetra. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 02: Guwahati-Kaziranga (195 kms)

After breakfast leave for Kaziranga National Park. Famous for one horned Rhino the park is also UNESCO world heritage site. Apart from one horned Rhino the park has good numbers of Elephant, Hollock Gibbon, tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild water buffalo, swamp deer etc. The forest has varied topography it has tropical deciduous and semi-evergreen forest. Check in to the hotel. Evening traditional cultural program with bon fire bar-be-que dinner. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 03: Kaziranga National Park

Early morning visit to park safari by Jeep. Return to the hotel breakfast have leisure time. Lunch and later visit park for another round of safari. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 04:Kaziranga National Park-Sessa Orchid Sanctuary (107 kms)

After breakfast leave for Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. The Sessa is highly vulnerable to rain and fog you may found mostly clouded or raining around the year be prepared with the necessary tips provided in our tips sections.

 

Day 05: Sessa-Jorhat (220 kms)

After breakfast leave for Jorhat upon arrival hotel check in. Check in to Hotel. Visit to tea garden. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 06:Jorhat-Namdapha National Park (280 kms)

After breakfast leave for Namdapha National Park. Upon arrival check in to lodge/Camp. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day 07: Namdapha National Park

Day 08: Namdapha National Park-Sivsagar (216 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Sivsagar. Upon arrival hotel check in. Visit to Shiva Dole, Vishnu Dole and Devi Dole, Ranghar. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 09: Shivsagar-Guwahati

After breakfast leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival hotel check in. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 10: Guwahati

After breakfast transfer to the Rly station or Airport for flight back to home.

IMPORTANT TRIP ADVISORY:

 

·         The best place to visit these park is from October to April. During the monsoon the park remains closed.

·         The tour is not for light hearted person as the trek routes passes though one of the most rugged route of the world.

·         We suggest these tours for person having experience in wildlife of deep forest. Though we provide accompanying guide yet we recommend for wildlife enthusiastic one.

·         The accommodation in these park except Kaziranga will be only with basic amenities this may be in Camp, Lodge, hut or may be rural homestay.

·         Take proper medical first aid along with you, Highly recommend are Odomas, Water purifying tablets or gadgets, torch with spare batteries, Rain coat of good quality, Proper Trekking shoes, 3-4 pair of shocks, Hand gloves, Sunglasses, Sunscreen lotion, face and hand cream, lots of chocolates, toffees.

·         There is no proper jeep safari route in Namdapha or Sessa one has to trek to explore the region.

·         Child are not allowed in this tour.

·         Take proper MSD cards as it is truly a photographers paradise.

·         Follow the rules and regulations of the forest department. There may be some places where photography is restricted.

·         Domestic tourist requires Inner line permit which can be easily obtained by us for which we will be requiring some information from the traveler.

·         Foreign tourist requires Restricted Area permit.
