Day 01: Arrive New Delhi

Upon arrival meet by our representative and transfer to the hotel. After wash-n change drive to Akshardham The temple was built in 5 years and the most wonderful thing about it is that no steel was used in the making of this monument; it is only composed of sandstone and marble. It consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 20 quadrangle shikars,a spectacular Gajendrapith and 20,000 murtis and statues of India’s great sadhus ,and devotees adorn the temple. The par karma consists of 1152 pillars and 145 windows .One can also enjoy boat ride, and musical fountain. This is the largest Hindu temple in the world and is a masterpiece of great Indian culture .The architecture is immaculate it is incomparable in terms of both magnitude and stateliness. Overnight will be at Delhi.

 

Day 02: New Delhi - Agra (203 kms)

After sumptuous breakfast proceed by surface to Agra. Upon arrival at the hotel check in. Later Agra Fort Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughals still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. Proceed for sightseeing of the city visit to Agra fort and Taj Mahal. Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Agra.

 

Day 03: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (245 kms)

After breakfast drive to beautiful Pink City - Jaipur. En route visit to Fatehpur Sikri the city envisaged by Emperor Akbar and later was abandoned due to scarcity of the water. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

 

Day 04: Jaipur

After breakfast in the morning proceed drive to Amber Fort/Amer Fort. Enjoy Elephant Back ascent to the Fort. Later proceed for sightseeing of City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Thereafter some leisure time for shopping of personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 05: Jaipur – Jodhpur (350 kms)

Breakfast at hotel check out and drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival at Jodhpur check into the hotel.

 Beautifully set amidst the Thar Desert the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Overnight will be at Jodhpur.

 

Day 06: Jodhpur

After a leisure breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Jaswant Thada, Ummed Bhawan Palace and Mehrangarh Fort. In the afternoon take a village Safari tour to Bishnoi village. It’s a scenic beauty marked with Khejri trees and deer. Also in the village is the Guda Bishnoi Lake. It is a natural lake, perfect as a picnic spot. A person interested in exotic wild life & nature should definitely visit this village. The Bishnoi community inhabits the village. The villagers are staunch worshippers of nature in all its forms, especially the sanctity of plant and animal life. Overnight at Jodhpur.

 

Day 07: Jodhpur – Udaipur (260 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Udaipur upon arrival check into the Hotel. The city of Lake and fondly called as City of Lake and Venice of the East. Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure lake, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravallis. A vision in white drenched in romance and beauty, Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sound and experiences and inspiration for the imagination of poets, painters and writers. Overnight will be at Udaipur.

 

Day 08: Udaipur

After breakfast at the Hotel proceed for a day sightseeing tour of Udaipur covering the City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the Peacock Courtyard. Visit the 300-year-old Jagdish Temple and the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajput kings. Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Udaipur.

 

Day 09: Udaipur – New Delhi

After breakfast at the hotel on time you will be transferred to the airport for flight.

Travel Tips:

 

·         Get firsthand knowledge about the state through a little bit of online research. It will give you an idea about the major tourist attractions as well as the traditions of the state.

·         It would be advisable not to venture out late in the night if you are not accompanied by a local resident or a professional guide.

·         Do not carry excessive cash while touring the city. It would be better to carry a credit card or an ATM card if you want to shop in the state.

·         Women should avoid wearing revealing clothes as Rajasthan is a traditional region. In general, both men and women should wear light pastel shades.

·         Avoid consuming any eatables given by strangers.

·         Do not forget to carry sun blocks lotions, hats/caps, and goggles as it can get extremely hot in Rajasthan.

·         Consume plenty of food solid food and fruit items as it is important to stay hydrated during hot summer months.

·         Beware of frauds and conmen posing as guides.

·         Footwear is not allowed inside the temples. Make sure to leave them outside but only at places where separate arrangements are made for their safekeeping.

·         Do not stay outside too long after dark, especially if you’re a woman traveling alone.

Health Tips for Travelers

·         People who are likely to get heat stroke quickly should be cautious as Rajasthan is a hot and dry region. Hence, it is advisable to use hats or head scarves to make one’s trip free from headaches.

·         Do not eat out at road side joints if you are not sure about the hygiene factor.

·         Do not drink normal tap water. Always consume boiled or mineral water and keep on constantly drinking liquids to avoid dehydration.

·         Avoid having non-vegetarian food from small restaurants as one is not sure about the quality of mutton, chicken, or any other meat served here.

·         Most importantly, always keep a first-aid box handy when you are on the move.
